Atari Releases The Full Version Of Asteroids: Gunner To The App Store

Atari launched Asteroids: Gunner, a revamped version of their classic arcade space shooter, for iOS in late 2011. The original release was a freemium app, which required in-app purchases to unlock the majority of content. Today, that has changed as Atari has released the full version of the game at a single upfront cost.
Adding a "+" to differentiate it from the original release, Asteroids: Gunner + makes the situation a whole lot easier and neater for fans that try the freemium version and then want to experience it all. No more unlocking the content one-by-one or worrying about restoring those in-app purchases if you reinstall the game.
Priced at $4.99, Asteroids: Gunner + includes access to the Alpha, Beta, and Gamma galaxies and the Dart, Bomber, Miner, Interceptor, Trader, Pirate, Battleship, and Alien spacecraft, plus removes the advertisement banner. Players will still need to collect Wave Stars to open new waves (levels) and accumulate crystals to repair and upgrade their spacecraft.
