Easily Share Those Ingenious Scribblenauts Remix Creations With Scribble Pics
February 29, 2012
Scribblenauts Remix, the iOS port of 5TH Cell's unique puzzle game for the Nintendo DS, has a new social feature as of today. Scribble Pics is the easy way to share your amazing Scribblenauts solutions to Facebook or Twitter.
Since Scribblenauts has dynamic gameplay, solutions aren't always going to be exactly the same. For example, you can create a rainbow lion or a zombie mailman. Normally, you create these objects to solve puzzles, although, there's also a freeplay area before the main menu. Anyway, because of this diversity, it's very tempting to share your creative approach. To make that process easier, we now have Scribble Pics.
Accessed by tapping the camera icon near the top-left of the screen, Scribble Pics makes it simple to capture and share the current screen image to the two top social networks. Along with the choice of Facebook or Twitter, Scribble Pics also provides the option to show or hide the user interface elements. So, you can have a standard game screenshot or one that looks like a drawing. Pretty cool, right?
In testing, we were able to verify a complaint posted to the iTunes Store in reference to today's update. EvanBus36 writes:
I loved it one of my favorite games then the new update I pressed the picture and my game froze and it won't unfreeze even when I retried it a bunch of times and if I delete it I will have to redo every levelGranted, the situation did appear that dire as even completely closing the app didn't solve the problem. However, we have some good news. While the issue didn't occur on all of the iDevices we tried, doing a device restart did the trick. Not only does this prevent the need to reinstall the app, but it also made the Scribble Pics feature work properly. Scribblenauts Remix is a universal app compatible with iPad, iPad 2, iPhone 3GS, iPhone 4, iPhone 4S, 32GB and 64GB third generation iPod touch, fourth generation iPod touch and newer running iOS 4.0 or later, and available in the App Store for $0.99.
