Jailbreak Only: AssistantConnect - The Easiest Way To Get Siri On An iPhone 4?

If you want to port Siri to an older iOS device, you can go about setting up a proxy (we have a guide explaining which proxy to choose). Though this can work well, a new pair of jailbreak tweaks - AssistantConnect and AssistantConnect4S - promise to make it even easier to port Siri to a non-iPhone 4S device, and what's more, the process doesn't even require a proxy.
As explained by iDownloadBlog, users still must have a access to an iPhone 4S in order to port Siri. Simply download Spire and AssistantConnect on the iPhone 4, and download AssistantConnect4S on a jailbroken iPhone 4S handset; open the AssistantConnect4S app icon on the iPhone 4S handset, and reboot.
Next, launch Siri on the iPhone 4S and ask a random question, and then tap the "Email Siri Data" button and send the attachment over to the iPhone 4 handset. On the iPhone 4, open the attachment in AssistantConnect and, after the process has completed, reboot your iPhone handset.
That's all there is to it! Siri should now work on the iPhone 4 handset. The downside is that there is an expiration date on the authentication sent from the iPhone 4S to the iPhone 4, meaning the attachment must be sent regularly. However, the process is free to take advantage of, and doesn't require a proxy.
You can download both AssistantConnect and AssistantConnect4S in the Cydia Store via the BigBoss Repository. Have a go at the process yourself, and let us know how it works for you in the comments.
