Remedy Adds A Little Love To Death Rally In Their Recent Valentine's Update

The tenth content update to Death Rally is available for download, if you haven't yet noticed. Death Rally v2.2 is about "celebrating Valentine's Day with bullets and mayhem - what every girl wants!" Well, maybe not that, but it does contain virtual gifts and several fixes.
Remedy has packed these gift wrapped packages with content that will warm the hearts of any Death Rally multiplayer racer. Randomly placed on courses during standard races, these Valentine's Day gifts hold Battle Modifiers, multiplayer power-ups normally priced at $0.99. Up to 10 of Valentine's Day gifts are provided and will be added to your current collection of Battle Modifiers when collected.
Maintenance made to the game in v2.2 includes sanity checks for lap and race times, achievement fixes, career resetting and restoring fixes, and multiplayer connection enhancements. I'm glad to see continued efforts on the multiplayer portion, especially adding Game Center matchmaking, but I'm still experiencing quite a few connection errors after this update was applied. Not quite as many as early on, however, I feel it's worth mentioning.
As a reminder, Death Rally v2.0 added:

Death Rally is a universal app compatible with iPad, iPad 2, iPhone 3GS, iPhone 4, iPhone 4S, 32GB and 64GB third generation iPod touch, fourth generation iPod touch and newer running iOS 3.2 or later, and available in the App Store for $0.99.
