We've covered the release of a few iOS app-controlled helicopters, such as the Griffin Helo TC, but today's RC helicopter news is special. Featured in today's Groupon Goods deals, the iPilot 6020i is being offered at 75 percent off the suggested retail price.
Controlled using your iDevice via a free iOS app, this mini helicopter is a great gift for the kids or can be that fun lunch break entertainment to fly around the office -- just leave us out of the aftermath. Anyway, the model features the typical twin main rotor design, charging through a USB connection, and standard maneuvering controls.
As for the technical specifications, the 6020i is a little more than 7.5 inches long, 3.7 inches tall, and 1.7 inches wide. Average operating time is eight to ten minutes with a full charge requiring about 30 minutes of downtime.
