AppAdvice has teamed up with Continuous Integration in order to offer you a chance to win one of five promo codes for Rock vs. Paper vs. Scissors Rumble ($0.99) for iPad, iPhone, and iPod touch.
Most of us have had good times playing the simple game of Rock, Paper, Scissors as a child, and even as adults. The rules were simple, count one, two, three, and then display one of the three objects by forming your hand into a fist, holding it flat, or holding it flat and creating a gap to look like scissors. The winner is decided by rock smashing scissors, scissors cutting paper, and paper wrapping rock.
Suffice it to say, RPS may be basic but the randomness, and requirement of strategy makes it plenty exciting in short spurts. Continuous Integration has extracted the strategy element and morphed RPS into a puzzle game, which they dub Rock vs. Paper vs. Scissors Rumble.
Using rock, paper, and scissors as actual characters, you must clear all but one of the champions to complete a puzzle. Slide a character over an adjoining character to eliminate it, remembering the previously mentioned rules. For example, drag Rock over a nearby Scissors to clobber him, but don't create gaps by destroying a character in between, because creating a gap means the isolated character is unusable and, therefore, an automatic puzzle fail.
RPS Rumble features 50 built-in puzzles across four difficulty levels, 90 more puzzles available via in-app purchase, unrestricted undo capability, Retina quality graphics, plus Game Center and OpenFeint integration.
