Coming Soon To The App Store, Don’t Step On The Cracks' First iOS Game Is Very Uplifting
March 11, 2012
Founded and solely operated by David Buttress, Don’t Step On The Cracks is on the verge of releasing their very first iOS game, On The Wind. A fast-paced but lighthearted experience, On The Wind should end up being a great starting point for the new company.
The beauty of leaves being blown across the sky by a breeze is the setting of this vibrant side-scroller. Using a single finger in a dragging motion, control the wind to carry the collection of leaves along dynamically created paths and through the challenges of the various seasons. Along the way, your mission is to gather even more leaves to the group.
To give you an idea of the craftsmanship, David Buttress is a former graphics professional of Rare. Buttress was part of the modeling and artwork teams for Kinect Sports, Banjo-Kazooie: Nuts & Bolts, Perfect Dark Zero, and Conker: Live and Reloaded.
On The Wind will be available as a universal app for iPad, iPhone, and iPod touch with Game Center integration. No specific release date or pricing has yet been revealed. Check out the official game trailer embedded below.
