FDG Entertainment Announces The Upcoming Availability Of Tentacle Wars For iPad

FDG Entertainment has been a company that typically produces colorful, family-friendly puzzle games, such as Beyond Ynth and Cover Orange. However, their latest App Store entry was the iOS port of Clear Vision, a game for mature players. Whether it was the success of Clear Vision or part of an app rollout plan, the company is working to release another port of a popular Adobe Flash-based game, Tentacle Wars.
An action-packed real-time strategy game, Tentacle Wars' backstory is of a disease on the verge of wiping out an entire alien species. Your mission is to take control of the last antibody cells in one of these alien creatures and utilize the DNA changing capabilities to neutralize the harmful cells. More specifically, you'll use tentacles to overtake enemy cells, convert them to antibody cells, and continue until the infection is eradicated.
Tentacle Wars for iOS will feature support for the third generation iPad's 2048x1536 resolution Retina display, 40 missions in Campaign mode, and Game Center matchmaking for intense online multiplayer battle opportunities. Tentacle Wars for iPad will be available sometime in April, whereas the iPhone and iPod touch version will arrive in the App Store later on in 2012.
