Jailbreak Only: Bars - Shows How Strong Your Cell Signal Actually Is

If you often find that your iPhone's cell signal strength bars lie to you, consider downloading Bars: a new jailbreak tweak that promises to display users' accurate cellular signal via the signal strength bars in the top-left corner of the iPhone's screen.
Bars is free to download (via the BigBoss repository) and, once installed, alters the appearance of the cell signal bars. For example, before installing Bars I had four full-strength signal bars showing at the top of my iPhone; after downloading the tweak, the appearance of the last bar altered - the last bar shrunk down to half size, suggesting that I actually had less signal than I thought I did.
Clearly, Bars is intended to be used by iPhone owners who often encounter poor reception (those for whom every cell signal bar counts!), and because of this, I'm not going to find much use for the tweak. But if you experience poor coverage and have found that your iPhone's cell signal bars have let you down in the past, take Bars for a spin and see if you notice a difference.
