Vehicle-Routing Puzzler On Its Way To The App Store
March 2, 2012
Independent developer Yo Ambulante is coming out with a new iOS puzzle game called Traffic Wonder. It's like Flight Control, except it's set completely on land and involves cars and vans.
In Traffic Wonder, you'll be assigned the important job of guiding color-coded vehicles towards their corresponding destinations. With a sweep of a finger, you must determine the most efficient, not to mention safest, route for each vehicle to take. Each level is designed with a different layout of roads, ranging from simple intersections to more complicated criss-crossings, so it's always wise to carefully plan your sweeps.
The game features realistic behaviors for the different types of vehicles, with meticulous consideration for how they eventually run out of fuel and how they get through tight turns. The vehicles also exhibit different speeds depending on their types, so crashing into one another is not out of the question.
Traffic Wonder has 60 levels that offers both a visually appealing puzzle challenge and an under-the-hood environmental wake-up call. It's currently in transit towards the App Store, and it should be arriving on your iOS devices in the coming weeks. Have a safe and fun trip!
