Carrotia: The Journey Hops To The App Store Just In Time For Easter
April 8, 2012
For obvious reasons, bunny-related items are part of the order of the day. Luckily, bunny-related games in the App Store are not few and far between. As a matter of fact, a notable one hopped to the App Store a little while back in the form of Carrotia: The Journey.
Carrotia has the look and feel of a children's storybook. Perhaps inspired by Beatrix Potter's popular Peter Rabbit books, Carrotia features fine illustrations of bunnies and their homeland called Bunnyville. Although it's technically a game, Carrotia has a storyline that could easily be the plot of a children's book. It's about bunnies experiencing famine in Bunnyville and their subsequent journey to the mysterious land of Carrotia, where their only hope supposedly resides. Watch the trailer for the game below.

The road to the mystical Carrotia is, unfortunately for the bunnies, paved with puzzles. But a heroic bunny dares to take the challenge of cracking the puzzles, with your help, of course. The puzzles are actually mazes, which can be solved by sliding tiles vertically and horizontally. Once you put together a proper path within a puzzle, onward you go to the next point and puzzle on the road to Carrotia.
Carrotia: The Journey is available now in the App Store. It's free to download for your iPhone, in celebration of both its release and Easter.
