Creepy Action Game Prisoner 84 Goes Universal In Update

April 20, 2012
Almost two years after it was released, the creepy action game Prisoner 84 has received a big update recently from developer Hidden Games. Originally designed for the iPhone and iPod touch, version 2.0 of the game is also now compatible with the iPad. For players using the iPad or a fourth-generation iPhone/iPod touch, the game now displays better graphics and more detailed character models. The third-person game sees a player taking control of a psychotic inmate who is trying to escape Tryton: a maximum security, offshore prison. The game takes you on Prisoner 84's journey as he attempts to make his escape. Players are treated to a slate of action and puzzles with some hidden surprises thrown in. Here's an updated game trailer. Click here if you can't see the video. Other features in the update include an enhanced user interface for all versions and the addition of multitask support. Prisoner 84 is available in the App Store for $2.99. What other neglected games would you like to see get updates from developers? I'm glad to see Hidden Games release a major update to an old title so people who might have missed it the first time around can experience the action.
