Frenzy Pop Puts Some Fizz To Platform Gaming On iOS

For some diabolical reason, the evil Captain Cork has destroyed all the vending machines in the world. What?! No more soda?! Could this be the end of the world as we know it? Not quite, as there's hope for us yet in the person, or, rather, bottle, of Mr. Pop.
Mr. Pop comes to the rescue of all soda-kind in Frenzy Pop, an upcoming game by Fowl Ops developer Al4red Studios. Frenzy Pop is a 2D platformer in which you assume the role of the fearless Mr. Pop. Your objective is to finish each level as fast as you can while anticipating the dangers posed by Captain Cork and his minions at every step and corner. What it lacks in the graphics department the game seemingly makes up for in gameplay. Frenzy Pop is bottled with 45 levels across three worlds complete with challenging boss battles. Expect to pop your way around numerous platforming obstacles, including spikes, cannons, and explosions. Expect also a "cheesy" bonus as Alphanoize Games lends CheeseMan for a cameo appearance somewhere in the game.
Featuring Game Center leaderboard integration and music by Honey Tribe Studios, Frenzy Pop is scheduled for release on April 26. It will be available for both iPhone and iPad for $0.99, way cheaper than a bottle of your favorite carbonated drink.
