Jailbreak Only: Redsn0w Updated - Improves Support For OS X 10.5 And Earlier

April 16, 2012
The iPhone Dev-Team has recently pushed out an update for its jailbreak software, redsn0w. However, don't get too excited - the new version of redsn0w (0.9.10b6b) doesn't include new functionality, nor does it bring support for Apple's newest iOS devices and iOS versions. Instead, this minor update improves support for OS X 10.5.x and earlier. According to the iPhone Dev-Team:
Update #1b: The OS X version of redsn0w has been updated to fix an issue for those running OS X 10.5.x or earlier.
If you've encountered problems with redsn0w under OS X 10.5.x, take a look at the new update. You can download it via the iPhone Dev-Team's website. And if any more news regarding redsn0w hits the Web, we'll be sure to let you know. [via JBU]
