Limbic Spruces Up Their Endless Climbing Game With Challenges, Stats, And More

Limbic Software continues to improve Jake and Miranda's little section in the woods. Today's release of Nuts v1.6 adds new challenges for the two adorable squirrels, posts their progress, and provides some "Spring cleaning."
Unlike the 18 Game Center achievements, the 40 new challenges are presented in groups of three. When completed, they are replaced, but only up to three at a time. These challenges are shown on the "Game Over" results screen and can also be found in the Challenges area via the main menu. Does this seem familiar? It's very much like what Halfbrick has implemented in Jetpack Joyride, which is fine with me.
Challenges aren't the only thing to be found in the Challenges area, as odd as that may sound. Also located in this new area is a statistics board, accessible by tapping the Stats sign near the bottom. Posted on the statistics board are the total number of branches struck, total number of coins collected, number of picnic items recovered, total time played, total distance climbed, and the highest point ever reached on the Infinitree.
I realize it isn't significant to everyone, though I would like to point out the fine touches of Nuts. Each menu and sub-menu has a themed 3-D appearance and the Challenges area even features animations of birds, Jake, and Miranda playing around among the trees and brook. All of that combined with a cleaner looking results screen makes for a very pleasant experience.
