Madcoaster Coasts Along With New In-Game Shop

Chillingo's already Jetpack Joyride-like coaster-themed endless running game Madcoaster has become even more Jetpack Joyride-like following the update it got today.
Easily the most significant addition brought about by the update is the new in-game shop. Prior to the update, coins earned while playing the game have zero use beyond helping you rack up points and unlock coin-related achievements. Now, your coin stash can now be used to purchase items in the brand new shop. The shop offers extra lives, coaster decorations, jet packs, power-ups, and, of course, more coins, which can be bought using your real-world money.
Also sold in the shop is an option to unlock all themes in the game. The levels in Madcoaster are played across differently themed landscapes, including jungle, Jurassic, Antarctic, Halloween, and Egyptian panoramas. The update actually adds two new themes, tropical and safari, for free, but more new themes are apparently available.
Another aspect of the new version of Madcoaster that is comparable to a feature of Jetpack Joyride is the new bonus wheel. When a game of Madcoaster is over, as long as you've coasted for at least 2000 meters, it seems, you will have the chance to spin the bonus wheel to receive bonus items, including coins and power-ups. Fans of Halfbrick Studios' Jetpack Joyride will no doubt recognize the similarity between Madcoaster's bonus wheel and Jetpack Joyride's bonus slot machine.
Madcoaster is designed for both iPhone and iPad and is available in the App Store for $0.99.
