Race To The Top Of The Urban Leaderboards In CitiRacing
April 3, 2012
It seems like racing games are all the rage lately among iOS game developers. Between the release of the F-Zero lookalike Ion Racer not so long ago and the launch of Speed Racer: The Beginning sometime this month, in zooms another racing game for iOS called CitiRacing.
Although these racing titles are popping up apparently just a week apart, the good thing is that they collectively display a diversity of styles. In CitiRacing's case, it boasts 3D environments supposedly patterned after real cityscapes. Over 40 tracks make good use of these environments, with different terrains and obstacles.
CitiRacing also features 11 customizable and stylish cars that exhibit varying car physics. Since CitiRacing has a multiplayer mode that can accommodate up to six players via a Wi-Fi or Bluetooth connection, you can pick a car and play against other players online. You can even form an alliance with some of your opponents to overthrow the biggest threat to your race for supremacy. And even when nobody else happens to be online, you can rely on Game Center or OpenFeint to provide you with other players' data to race against instead. Watch some of the cars in action as they drift and careen in the game trailer below.

Designed for both iPhone and iPad, CitiRacing is available now in the App Store for $2.99.
