A Chance To Win A ContactLaunch Promo Code With A Retweet Or Comment

May 17, 2012
AppAdvice has teamed up with John Parron in order to offer you a chance to win one of 10 promo codes for ContactLaunch ($0.99) for iPhone and iPod touch. ContactLaunch is the address book designed for today's communication. Along with Phone, Messages, Mail, and FaceTime, ContactLaunch has integration with Twitter, Facebook, Skype, and Camera+ to provide the most efficient means of communicating in today's digital world. For starters, ContactLaunch uses both Facebook and Camera+ to assist in adding contacts. While you can import all of your contacts from the Address Book app, it's also possible to import some or all via Facebook. If a contact's photo is outdated or one not best suited for use in ContactLaunch, quickly import one from your iOS or Camera+ photo library. Once imported, you'll notice that contacts are displayed using their photo, which is also why the previous features are extra important. Tap on a photo to view the contact's details. Each contact entry consists of a photo encompassing the upper half of the screen with the various communication options available as icons beneath. If you need to edit details, tap on the gear icon near the back arrow at the bottom-left of the screen. ContactLaunch doesn't assign details like most other address book apps. Instead of entering by field, you enter a detail and assign fields around them. For example, you enter a username and then associate it to Twitter and Skype. It isn't astonishingly quicker, though it is a nice touch. Once that's complete, we finally come down to actually using the app to communicate with others. Beyond standard calling, FaceTime, and simple messaging, ContactLaunch also offers tweeting, VOIP and video calls via Skype, and group messaging. Tweeting can be done within ContactLaunch when using an iDevice running iOS 5, although, ContactLaunch supports automatically launching any one of more than a dozen popular clients. Speaking of settings, ContactLaunch has more than just preferred Twitter client selection. In fact, ContactLaunch provides three different visual customization. Accessible within the iOS Settings app, there are two background and 10 accent color choices, including Facebook blue, plus the ability to have all accents and buttons a unified color. To have a chance at winning one of seven ContactLaunch promo codes, just hit that tweet button near the bottom of this page or retweet this post from your favorite Twitter app before May 17 at 11:59 p.m. PDT. We will then search the Twitterverse for all of the retweets and randomly choose our lucky winners. The winners will be notified via Twitter, so please be sure to follow us so we can send you your promo code via a direct message. Non-Twitter users and those of you who want to increase your odds of winning can leave a relevant comment below before 11:59 p.m. PDT tomorrow to have a chance at winning one of the other three ContactLaunch promo codes. Feel free to participate in the giveaway via either or both methods. Only one entry per person per method is allowed, totaling up to two entries per person if using both.
