AppAdvice has teamed up with Wondershare Software in order to offer you a chance to win one of 10 promo codes for PowerSketch ($0.99) for iPhone and iPod touch.
There's just something about a hand-drawn landscape or portrait that makes it feel so much more powerful than a standard photo. However, not all of us have the ability to create such artwork, although, there is a solution. With PowerSketch by Wondershare, you can easily apply any one of following artistic effects to a photo or video: rice paper, picture-in-picture, charcoal, color fense, X-sketch, shadow, wash, comic, sketch, color sketch, and neon.
Not only does PowerSketch offer 14 different effect choices, but previews are shown in real-time. No more trying a filter, not liking the result, and then performing the process again until you are satisfied. The viewfinder includes the standard zoom, flash mode and camera selection on supported devices, and landscape or portrait orientation optimized controls.
There are two ways to select an effect. In the bottom-right of the viewfinder is a quick select button that simply cycles through all of the available filters and immediately above or to the right of the shutter button is the full filter browser with sample thumbnails.
Beyond applying effects to freshly captured moments, PowerSketch provides a few other great features. Within the main menu, accessed by tapping on the home icon in the top-left when in capture mode, you can add effects and borders to previous photos in Edit mode, view and edit photos in the Gallery, or share creations through several of the popular social networks and sites.
Going even further, Wondershare contains presentation options to present photos with the utmost of beauty. Available as choices within the Gallery, you can add a border or even create a collage of photos. To create a collage, tap on the edit button in the top-right, select the desired photos, and then tap the collage button to the immediate left of the trashcan.
