A Chance To Win An Easy Calendar Promo Code With A Retweet Or Comment

AppAdvice has teamed up with T. van Zummeren in order to offer you a chance to win one of five promo codes for Easy Calendar ($1.99) for iPhone and iPod touch.
Every app needs a "thing," something that makes it stand out. For Easy Calendar, the advantage is being the simplest and quickest event reminder possible. It's so simple that entering, editing, copying, and moving events can be done in nearly half the time it takes to complete the same tasks using the iOS Calendar app. To give you a better idea, we'll quickly go through the controls.
For basic navigation and entry, swipe left or right to change the week and tap on an event to view the full text and editing options. If necessary, you can add a location, URL, notes, and an alert to an event by selecting More in the edit options.
To manage and locate events once created, there are several handy features to utilize. Foremost, you can perform a quick tap, hold, and release to reveal the copy, move, and delete commands. After selecting copy or move, just tap on a different day to finalize. Located in the top-right, the action menu provides calendar selection, a "jump to week" quick scroll, text search, and settings. In addition, the search box can be displayed with an upward swipe.
Even though Easy Calendar is designed to be primarily used in portrait orientation, you can turn your iDevice to the landscape orientation to view multiple weeks worth of entries. This mode does require an extra step to edit events and lacks a few of the action menu options.
