FDG Announces An Upcoming Update To Clear Vision, Plus Provides A Few Teaser Screens
May 17, 2012
Released in February, FDG Entertainment's iOS port of Clear Vision was quickly greeted with positive reviews. However, fans, us included, were a bit disappointed at the quick and open-ended story. Thankfully, our hopes of additional content will soon be fulfilled as FDG has announced an upcoming update to the title, and provided a few teaser screenshots.
To rewind a bit, Clear Vision tells the story of an employee, Tyler, pushed over the edge. Withstanding insult after insult and disappointment after disappointment, Tyler's attempts to correct the situation in a civilized manner ultimately fail, resulting in his decision to pursue a debatable freelance position.
Immersed in crude, simplistic dialog and stick figure-style art, you take the role of Tyler and his new life as a freelance hitman. Accepting various types of missions, you slowly gain street credit and become able to afford the finer things, including new rifles. The story has its ups and downs, and offers a few extras on the side. However, the game quickly ends and without closure.
Satisfied with what was there, most hoped it simply meant "to be continued." As mentioned earlier, that appears to have been the case, whether it balanced on the game's success or not. Provided with only a few screenshots, we can conclude both new missions and the continuation of the story (hint, hint, cutscene).
