A day after Draw Something finally became Retina-ready for the new iPad, another hugely popular iOS gaming title has gotten the Retina iPad treatment. ZeptoLab's Cut the Rope, as well as its spinoff Cut the Rope: Experiments, has made the cut at long last for the high-resolution display of Apple's bestselling tablet. Cut the Rope and Cut the Rope: Experiments have each received an update today. Common to both games are the aforementioned graphics upgrade and localization support for Spanish, Italian, Dutch, Brazilian Portuguese, Simplified Chinese, Japanese, and Korean. Beyond these, there's actually no more additions to the original Cut the Rope game. In the case of Cut the Rope: Experiments, however, its update delivers a few more new goods. Chief among the new additions to Cut the Rope: Experiments is a brand new 25-level pack called Handy Candy. The new pack has you manipulating mechanical arms in order to direct candy toward Om Nom's perpetually hungry mouth. A new photo of the cute, little monster in the Professor's Album is also included in the update, as are new achievements and a new leaderboard. Cut the Rope for iPhone and Cut the Rope HD for iPad are available in the App Store for $0.99 and $1.99, respectively. Cut the Rope: Experiments for iPhone and Cut the Rope: Experiments HD for iPad, though, are both free for a limited time. Cut from the same cloth, all of these games offer puzzle after physics-based puzzle of eye and brain candy.
