Learn How To Train Your Dragon In Rescuing Sheep In DreamWorks Dragons: TapDragonDrop

May 3, 2012
As a big fan of "How to Train Your Dragon," I am pleased to learn of the release of yet another iOS title based on DreamWorks' Oscar-nominated animated film. Actually, this new app is a tie-in for the upcoming television series based on the film. Developed by PikPok, DreamWorks' Dragons: TapDragonDrop shows that the Viking island of Berk is indeed no safe place for sheep. Although the sheep's previous reptilian predators have been successfully befriended by the Vikings at the end of the film, a new sort of danger now befalls the hapless wooly animals. An intense storm has scattered them throughout the island and now Hiccup and Toothless find themselves on a rescue mission. Of course, since they're in a game, they need all the help they can get from you. If you can't see the video embedded above, please click here. DreamWorks' Dragons: TapDragonDrop is so named partly because you need to tap, drag, and drop your way through the game's many levels, as shown in the trailer above. Using an assortment of items, including catapults and haystacks, you must be able to guide the sheep to safety. The game comes with 40 challenging levels, but additional level packs can be downloaded via in-app purchase. Optimized with Retina graphics for both iPhone and iPad, DreamWorks' Dragons: TapDragonDrop is available in the App Store for $1.99. Get the game now and prove you're a true sheep-loving Viking.
