PDF Reader - iPhone Edition Updated With Better Rendering Speed And Other Improvements
May 28, 2012
PDF Reader - iPhone Edition is one half of Kdan Mobile's dynamic duo of PDF readers for iOS. Similar to the predictably named PDF Reader - iPad Edition, it boasts a wide array of features that facilitate hassle-free loading and handling of PDF documents even on the go. As it happens, the app has been updated recently to add a great deal more to its feature set.
Version 3.9 of PDF Reader - iPhone Edition offers many improvements — too many to mention, as a matter of fact. There are, however, standouts among the torrent of what's new that's brought about by the update. Increased rendering speed, freehand drawing adjustments, and image file to PDF conversion are just a few of them.
The update also introduces support for iCloud and SugarSync, which augments its existing integration with Box.net, Dropbox, and the soon-to-be-defunct iDisk. Moreover, the update finally brings the ability to define words within documents using the built-in dictionary on iOS 5. In line with this, in-app Google and Wikipedia searching is now supported as well.
The newly updated PDF Reader - iPhone Edition is available in the App Store for $1.99, while its iPad counterpart is priced at $4.99. If you're in the market for a PDF reader with functionality to which Adobe Reader's pales in comparison, you can do worse than to go with either PDF Reader edition.
