Pod2g Has Added iPad 3,3 Support To Absinthe 2.0, Expect Release Soon

For weeks - nay, months now - we've been following @pod2g's iOS 5.1-untethered-jailbreak progress, posting updates whenever more news becomes available. However, it finally looks like we're nearing the end of our wait: @pod2g has recently added iPad 3,3 support to Absinthe 2.0, meaning we're now closer then ever to seeing the release of a jailbreak solution for iOS 5.1 (iOS 5.1.1).
The jailbreak mastermind, who is currently at the Hack In The Box Conference in Amsterdam with @MuscleNerd and numerous other iOS hackers, recently tweeted out the below messages:
OK just added iPad3,3 support to Absinthe thanks to @flawlessfox. Only remains iPad2,4 now but we need the actual device. Any people of #HITB2012AMS has an iPad2,4? Model number: either MC954 or MC989. Please check in Settings / General / AboutAs he's so close to completing Absinthe 2.0, many are speculating that @pod2g and his pals might release the new jailbreak solution for iOS 5.1(.1) at the Hack In The Box conference - perhaps even during the Dev Teams keynote presentation, which is scheduled to take place on Friday.
