TripIt Update Features Retina iPad Display Support

Travel organizing app TripIt has been updated with enhanced features and support for the new iPad’s Retina display.
Version 3.3 of the app is highlighted by the ability to access past trips and itineraries on your iPhone or iPod touch.
The updated version also features detailed terminal maps for more than 136 airports, so users can find the nearest restroom or where to find a bite to eat. There is also general airport news that gives information about weather and other delays.
TripIt is a universal app for both the iPhone/iPod touch and iPad. The free version, available for download in the App Store, contains ads. You can also purchase an ad-free version in the App Store for $3.99.
For professional road warriors, you can subscribe to TripIt Pro for an annual $49 subscription. Subscribers can get the status and see real-time positions for flights in the air, among other features.
TripIt is designed to organize and share travel information so you no longer have to frantically search for confirmation emails or your folder with travel information. When you receive a confirmation email from anywhere you book, you simply forward the information to a specific email address, and the information will appear in the app.
More than 3,000 booking sites, including cruises, restaurants, concerts, and more are recognized by the app.
