AppAdvice Game Of The Week For June 28, 2012
Every week, our staff will handpick a game from the past seven days that we believe is a must-download for your iPhone or iPad. These games will always be from a wide variety of genres, but they are chosen because our own staff members love it and can’t quite put it down. So here are this week’s picks! Enjoy, and happy gaming!
Where’s My Perry?
Disney has done it again. Where’s My Perry? combines the fun gameplay of Where’s My Water with the magical whimsy of the “Phineas and Ferb” cartoon. This time though, you’ll be following Perry the Playpus and jumping into the dark sewers to navigate to the headquarters to save the day once again.
Basic gameplay of the game involves solving simple puzzles, where you will be moving dirt away with your fingers to get the water to the pipeline. This water will power up the pod that Perry uses to get himself to the secret headquarters. Things will just get harder as you progress, so be ready! The game has three forms of water (liquid, steam, and ice) for you to navigate through, so it requires different strategies than Where’s My Water?
There are four different chapters for you to go through, with 20 levels of each, so you will get hours of fun and entertainment. You can earn up to three garden gnomes in each level, which you’ll need to use to unlock more chapters.
If you’re a fan of the cartoon, you’re in for a treat. The game will feature many vocal appearances from characters of the “Phineas and Ferb” cartoon, including Dr. Doofenshmirtz. There are plenty of achievements to obtain too, so the game will just keep you coming back for more.
Make sure to give this game a try on your iPhone or iPad if you’re a fan of Disney, Where’s My Water?, and "Phineas and Ferb."
