Cloth App Unwraps Weather Underground And Aviary Photo-Editing Integration
June 20, 2012
Cloth, the iOS app that "unlocks your closet," has just been relaunched and reloaded.
Cloth is now weather-aware. The latest version of Cloth lets you access an in-app upgrade that integrates the app with Weather Underground. In partnership with that worldwide weather site, Cloth helps you decide which clothes to wear according to the current weather conditions in your area.
As shown in the video below, Cloth Weather works by tagging your outfits with the weather data at the time you wore and posted pictures of those outfits. Then, to know which among your clothes are suitable for the current weather, just tap the Weather tab in the app and select the Current bar.

The app also lets you select other weather conditions, such as Hot, Chilly, Rain, and Snow. These options might come in handy if you're planning on going somewhere with a markedly different climate from where you live.
The Cloth Weather in-app upgrade also unlocks the app's built-in photo-editing features. Upon purchasing the $0.99 upgrade, you can start using Cloth's Instagram-like filters courtesy of Aviary.
Given the proper color combinations, you can easily make your outfits and, of course, yourself stand out in your photos. Give photo-editing a go before you upload them to ClothApp.com or share them on Facebook, Twitter, and Tumblr. But as with getting dressed, make sure not to overdo it.
In addition to its weather and photo-editing integration, the following improvements are brought by the latest update to Cloth:
In honor of this significant update, Cloth is now available in the App Store for free. Download it now if you want to make sure you're dressed for the weather as well as dressed to kill.
