Create And Share Digital Photo Albums On Your iPad With Photobook+

June 26, 2012
There are plenty of ways we can share digital photos, including via the iOS Photos app. However, Marco Metting has created an app for iPad, Photobook+, that allows you to present moments using the old-fashioned photo album format, the large book with related photos placed alongside one another in various arrangements to fill each page. Even though Photobook+ is on your iPad, it's easy to get all of your precious moments incorporated into the digital photo books. You can capture new photos with your third generation iPad's camera or use Photo Stream, the Apple iPad Camera Connection Kit, or iTunes to copy photographs from your computer and iPhone. Once imported, photographs can be placed in 47 different layouts, plus the option to mix in maps, text, and even weather details. It's a much more decorative, creative, and efficient method than writing the details on the back of photos and / or trying to create your own captions in the physical books. When it comes time to share your collections, it can be done in person, which features the beautiful page turning effect seen in most other book-related apps, or books can be delivered via email, Twitter, or Facebook. Photobook+ is compatible with iPad running iOS 5.0 or later, and available in the App Store for the introductory price of $1.99.
