Disney Launches WATCH Disney Channel Apps In The iOS App Store

If you're brave enough to hand your beloved iPhone or iPad over to a youngster - or perhaps, on the other hand, if said youngster owns an iDevice of his or her own - consider downloading WATCH Disney Channel (free). This new, universal application allows Disney Channel fans to watch shows from the network on an iDevice, on-the-go.
As outlined in the app's release notes, features of WATCH Disney Channel include:
Furthermore, Disney has launched a couple of other apps for its other Disney channels, "Junior" and "XD." The apps, WATCH Disney Junior and WATCH Disney XD, are also universal applications that are free to download in the App Store. However, in order to enjoy live TV and "the newest full episodes" available in the app, users must be Comcast/Infinity subscribers, as Disney explains in its release notes. In addition, a U.S. Internet connection is required, meaning folks outside of the U.S. of A. won't be able to hook-up to the Disney Channel from their iDevice. As mentioned, all three apps - WATCH Disney Channel, WATCH Disney Junior and WATCH Disney XD - are available to download in the App Store for free.
