Electric Friends Speaker Dock - For When Listening To Music Just Isn't Cute Enough

In a world of sleek smartphones and elegant accessories, it isn't too often you see something like Electric Friends' animal-themed speaker docks for iPhone and iPod. Available in four different animal styles, Electric Friends add an abundance of cute to the typically ordinary task of docking your iDevice.
Each animal packs two 5-watt speakers and two 40mm full-range neodymium drivers to produce room-filling sound. Once your device is docked and charging, you can use touch controls located on the ears can to adjust volume. Of course, the speakers also feature a 3.5mm auxiliary input to connect other audio devices you may have. You can use the included AC adapter to power your musical animal, or put some batteries in it to take the sound with you.
Chew Chew (dog), Ki Ki (cat), Sing Sing (panda), and Kwack Kwack (duck) may not be for everybody, but the amount of young children with iDevices is continuing to grow. The Electric Friends speakers are compatible with all iDevices sporting a 30 pin dock connector. So, if Apple does go with a smaller dock connector in the future, why not pass your current iDevices down to your kids?
You can get yourself (or your child) an Electric Friends speaker dock for $69.99. Is that too much for the price of cuteness?
I'm not sure if I love these, or if I want to kill them with fire. Would you pick one of these up?
