Hero Academy Includes More Free Training Materials And Rewards
June 29, 2012
Released earlier this year, Robot Entertainment's online turn-based strategy game, Hero Academy, has been doing very well for itself. However, the game is still gaining players, and Robot has upgraded the welcome package to further help newcomers.
What's the very essential part of a game's welcoming routine? The tutorial, of course, which is found within the Training section. Broken down into topics, such as moving and weapons, the new tutorial goes far beyond just pointing out the user interface elements. Instead, you'll discover the different aspects of Hero Academy through brief interactive lessons, including some tips.
Still a training tool, though not categorized that way, the now completely free challenges provide important strategy practice. Consisting of objective-based battle scenarios, challenges help both new and partially experienced players recognize the strengths of weaknesses of each team and character.
Once you've had a chance to learn a thing or two, you can start battling against your friends and random competitors. For a little more incentive to keep at it, even if the first several matches are a bit rough, Robot has made taunts strictly a reward instead of an in-app item. In addition, there are five more achievements you can earn.
Hero Academy is a universal app compatible with iPad, second generation iPad, third generation iPad, iPhone 3GS, iPhone 4, iPhone 4S, 32GB and 64GB third generation iPod touch, fourth generation iPod touch and newer running iOS 4.1 or later, and available in the App Store as a free download.
