Jailbreak Only: BannerDisable - Adds A Do Not Disturb Toggle To Settings App

June 8, 2012
BannerDisable (free) is a jailbreak tweak that adds a "Do Not Disturb" toggle-switch to the Settings app. Once downloaded and installed, users can enable this toggle-switch in order to launch the "Do Not Disturb" mode: when this mode is in use, notifications on the iPhone handset will be suppressed, and will not disturb the user. Disabling the mode is as simple as switching the toggle back over to "OFF," as you would Airplane Mode or any other toggle-switch. As you can see in the above image, BannerDisable's toggle-switch locates itself right under Airplane Mode, and fits in well with the Settings app as a whole. Of course, if you decide BannerSwitch isn't for you, it's possible to remove the toggle-switch by uninstalling the package in the Cydia app. You can download and install BannerNotifications for free in the Cydia Store. Check out the tweak now, and be sure to take a look at iDownloadBlog's video walkthrough, which we've embedded below.
