Jailbreak Only: How To Add iOS 6's Twitter Widget To iOS 5

In iOS 6, Apple has added a swanky Twitter widget to Notification Center. Touching the widget invokes the built-in tweet display, from which users can type out an update and post it to Twitter, all without having to launch a third-party iOS application. Though this feature is "officially" limited to iOS 6, jailbreakers will be pleased to learn that a new package can add the feature to jailbroken iOS 5-powered iDevices.
The package is called "iOS 6 Twitter Widget," and once installed users can add the aforementioned widget to Notification Center, from within the "Notifications" section of the Settings app. It's as simple as that: no new icons are added to the Home screen, and no new panes are added to the built-in Settings application. The tweak replicates iOS 6's Twitter widget perfectly, and looks great.
If you're not a jailbreaker, worry not because the feature will hit your iDevice come fall. But if you're rocking a jailbroken mobile device and want to enjoy this handy feature earlier than most, head over to the Cydia Store and download iOS 6 Twitter Widget now - it's available for free.
