While the premise of Lost Penguin looks simple, getting through the game is anything but. And the puzzle adventure has gotten even better with a recent update that brings a slate of improvements.
Version 1.1 of the app features the addition of a bonus island with 10 new levels to bring the game's total to 120. Along with an updated icon, developer Seejaykay has also improved the in-game graphics.
At the start of the game, Walter the Walrus steals all the fish from a pair of penguins. The pair get lost trying to track the walrus down, and you must help them get back to Antarctica. Each level is cleared by stepping on each block only once to get to the exit. While the game starts easy, it gets progressively tougher with the addition of more elements and blocks to clear.
To play through each of the four environments – jungle, desert, volcano, and snow – players simply swipe across the screen to move the penguin.

Lost Penguin is a universal game for both the iPad and iPhone/iPod touch. It can be purchased for $0.99 in the App Store. Gamers can also purchase super penguins inside the app to complete a level. Ten can be purchased for $2.99 while two run $0.99.
