Sparrow On Sale For A Limited Time - Make Your Move By Friday

Sparrow, arguably the best email client for iPhone, is on sale for a limited time. You can get Sparrow for $0.99 today and tomorrow. On Thursday, the app goes up to $1.99, then back to its original price of $2.99 on Friday. Act quickly.
If you had been holding off on Sparrow due to its relatively high (but justifiable) price and lack of push notifications, I'd say getting it for $0.99 is worth it. Even without push notifications, Sparrow blows the stock Mail app out of the water. Of course, if you've got a jailbroken iPhone, you can use the Sparrow+ tweak to bring push notifications to Sparrow, as well as the ability to make Sparrow your phone's default email app.
Unfortunately, Sparrow is iPhone-only at the moment, but you can expect to see an iPad version soon. When the iPad version does hit, I hope that Sparrow will just become a universal app, rather than two separate apps. However, I could easily see that being a possibility as Sparrow is a very gesture-based app. With a larger screen, the iPad version could have its own gestures for navigation through the app. Throw some push notifications in there and you've got yourself a Sparrow HD.
I could be (and probably am) completely wrong about that, but we won't know anything until Sparrow makes it official. As always, we'll keep you posted.
