Stitcher Radio Updated With Smart Station, Sleep Timer And More

Stitcher Radio is now smarter than ever.
Often referred to as "Pandora for news," Stitcher Radio is a topnotch app that provides access to thousands of news and information programs. It has programs covering a variety of topics. So, whether you're into politics or comedy, science or business, there's something in Stitcher Radio to interest you.
And now to better aid you in finding more programs to listen to, Stitcher Radio has received an update that introduces Smart Station.
Accessible within the My Favorites tab, Smart Station offers personalized recommendations based on your listening habits. As stated in the update's release notes, "The more you listen and thumb up, the smarter your recommendations get."
The update also brings the obligatory bug fixes and optimizations, but a few other new features are worth noting.
One of these features is the app's ability to display the album art for the currently playing program right on your device's lock screen.
A sleep timer is also now included within Stitcher Radio. This is apparently the feature most requested by users, and it's not hard to see why. I myself will find this useful for when I'd like the app to automatically stop playing around the time I fall asleep.
Another noteworthy change is improved Twitter integration. When you share a program in the latest version of Stitcher Radio, the tweet box is automatically filled with descriptions and sources.
Designed for both iPhone and iPad, Stitcher Radio is available in the App Store for free.
