Apple Says App Store Glitch Is No More

Apple has announced that the App Store glitch that affected some of the most popular apps is no more. In an email sent to All Things Digital, Cupertino confirms that the issue has been resolved. Apple states:

We had a temporary issue that began yesterday with a server that generated DRM code for some apps being downloaded. The issue has been rectified and we don’t expect it to occur again.

The so-called “mystery glitch” caused some apps that were downloaded from the App Store to crash upon launch. Among these were popular titles such as Instapaper and GoodReader for iPad. For those that are still having problems loading apps, you are asked to delete them from your iPhone or iPad and then download them again from the App Store. This wasn't the only problem that affected the App Store this week. Late yesterday, it was reported that a Trojan horse also hit the iOS store. Luckily, that problem was also remedied, as Apple pulled the infected app, Find and Call, soon after it went live in the App Store. Were you hit by the glitch? Source: All Things Digital
