It's already possible to configure a custom brightness level for iDevices when unplugged, but now a new jailbreak tweak (called "BrightnessPlug") allows users to set an addition level for when their jailbroken iPhone is connected to a power source, according to Jailbreak Nation. Once downloaded and installed, users can configure the aforementioned additional brightness level from a new pane in the Settings app, which BrightnessPlug adds. Quite simply, this new brightness level will be activated once the jailbroken iDevice is plugged into a power source. If you set a low brightness level on your iPhone for everyday use in order to preserve battery life, this simple, effective jailbreak tweak could be for you. Currently, BrightnessPlug is available to download in the Cydia Store for free (via the ModMyi repository). Below, we've included a video walkthrough provided by Jailbreak Nation. Enjoy!
