Dive Into WayCooler's Creepy Cooler To Make Your Photos Way Cooler
July 14, 2012
Want to make your photos look way cooler? Then all you need is WayCooler.
I know what you're thinking: "Not another photo app?!" Sure, WayCooler is yet another photo app. But it's one that's unlike any other.
WayCooler lets you stick an assortment of assets onto your photos. Now, that might not be cool in itself. But once you consider the fact that these assets are hand-drawn by renowned artist Alex Pardee, then it instantly becomes a thousand times cooler.
If you're not familiar with Pardee, it might interest you to know that his work has appeared on loads of stuff. He has done illustrations for such bands as The Used and In Flames. Also, he has collaborated with "300" director Zack Snyder for the artwork in the movie "Sucker Punch."
If you're at all familiar with Pardee, though, then I don't need to tell you that the assets he has created for WayCooler are way wicked.
Actually, the app's name is also a play on the name of the insulated container we often use for keeping our food and drink cool.
WayCooler gives you access to a virtual cooler. But instead of food and drink, the app's cooler contains eyes, noses, hands, ears, teeth, shapes, ears, and wings in various levels of disfigurement.
The app offers 100 of these freaky body parts for free. But if you're so twisted as to want 100 more, you can expand your creepy cooler by purchasing the premium bundles in-app.
WayCooler is available now as a free universal app in the App Store.
You can use the app to make a newly taken photo, an existing photo from your library, or a blank canvas way cooler. When you're done, make sure to tag your photos with #WayCooler and share them via Twitter, Tumblr, or Instagram. You can check out and add to the tagged creations on WayCooler's community Tumblr.
