Feel The Rush While Marking Off Numbers On Cards In Bingo Rush

July 11, 2012
The popular Facebook game Bingo Blitz, which boasts over 10 million players, has been adapted for iPhone. And the result is the aptly named Bingo Rush. I say "aptly named" because you'll definitely be rushing to mark off your virtual cards. As opposed to the original Facebook game, Bingo Rush is a single-player affair. And to implement this setup, game developer Buffalo Studios has you, the single player, playing against time instead. To race against the clock, you must be able to quickly mark off the drawn numbers and efficiently use the "next ball" button whenever necessary. For every new number drawn by the game's sweet-voiced caller, you have to search for it across all your cards. If spotted, the number must be daubed appropriately. Once all instances of the number have been daubed, the caller proceeds to draw the next number. But if you don't see the number anywhere, you must immediately press the "next ball" button. Only then is the next number drawn. Press the button only if you're sure of the current number's absence, though, or else three seconds will be deducted from your time. However, I've only been able to play for as long as the game's free credits would allow. The game comes with 10 free credits (topped up every three hours), which you can use to purchase bingo cards. In the game's sole initially locked level, Buffalo, each bingo card costs one credit. You can buy and play up to six bingo cards for every round of Bingo Rush. But I wouldn't recommend engaging in a six-card round, since only two cards are displayed at a time. You have to scroll through each pair of cards to make sure all numbers are daubed accordingly. Before you know it, your time is already up with nary a bingo pattern in sight. Bingo Rush for iPhone is available now in the App Store for free. Naturally, it is funded by in-app purchases, which range from additional credits and power-ups. Whether you're a fan of Bingo Blitz on Facebook or not, you're likely to like the rush provided by Bingo Rush.
