Updated: Twitter is now back online.
Folks, the Twitter universe is currently taking a break. For an unknown reason, the social networking site is down.
According to the site status page:
Users may be experiencing issues accessing Twitter. Our engineers are currently working to resolve the issue.Perhaps the issue is all those new OS X Mountain Lion users, who can now tweet pretty much anywhere they want in Apple’s newest OS.
