Upcoming Speero Jailbreak Tweak Adds System Management To iPad

July 2, 2012
A soon to be released jailbreak tweak called Speero promises to add an effective system management interface to the iPad, as iDownloadBlog reports. Once downloaded and installed, jailbroken iDevice owners will be able to invoke Speero via an Activator action (such as a double-tap of the status bar, or a swipe up from the bottom of the iPad's screen). In the interface, users will then have the option of accessing a series of system toggles - including volume and brightness toggles, a rotation lock and more, and in another selection of the interface will be able to kill background iOS apps. Furthermore, users can also view system information from within the jailbreak tweak. As iDownloadBlog notes:
In addition to the aforementioned list of options, there are also settings in the Settings app panel that allow you to adjust the pop-up blur radius and tint. For those of you who prefer a way to dismiss the pop-up besides using the Home button, the developers have included a provision to dismiss with a double tap.
Finally, Speero's developer has noted that plug-ins will allow jailbreak developers to further expand the capabilities of the tweak, once it hits the Cydia Store. Apparently, we should see the launch of Speero in the "very near future," according to iDownloadBlog. Once available, the jailbreak tweak will retail for $0.99 in the Cydia Store, via the BigBoss repository. Below, we've included a video walkthrough of the tweak - let us know if you're planning on purchasing Speero in the comments!
