We Have Copies Of The Freshly Updated Intro Designer For iMove To Give Away

July 24, 2012

While everyone can make videos nowadays to share with others, it’s another thing to make videos that actually look like they were professionally edited with some great introduction clips. That was the point of Intro Designer for iMovie, which I originally reviewed back in Dec. 2011. Earlier this year, it got updated to bring universal support, so you could make great introductory clips from your iPad.

And here we are again, with another great update from dgMotion Mobile, bringing Intro Designer for iMovie up to version 1.3.

With this latest update, there are three new templates to choose from, adding to the already decently sized collection of molds for any special occasion. Previously, you were only able to export the intro video to your Camera Roll, but now, in addition to that, you can share the clip with your friends via Facebook, YouTube, or email. It’s always nice to see social integration in apps.

Other new features include the ability to clone existing projects, as well as deleting template media files in case you value your iDevice’s space. Other small improvements have made their way into the app, such as better control of template downloads, and even quicker downloads than before.

The developers also give users a preview of what’s to come in version 2.0, which are: custom colors, music, and more font options. We’ll definitely be looking forward to checking that out once it hits the App Store.
