Airport City HD Now Boarding On Your iPad With No Pixelated Planes In Sight

August 11, 2012
Which came first, the chicken or the egg? While the jury is still out on that issue, Airport City HD is trying to answer a similar question: Which came first, the airport or the city? Conventional wisdom dictates that the city most definitely precedes the airport. But the recently released iOS game Airport City HD begs to differ somewhat. Airport City HD tasks you to build an international airport first before developing a city around it. To be sure, you will have to maintain a sort of symbiotic relationship between your airport and your city. Your city shall provide the passengers, fuel, and money that you need to get your airport off the ground, so to speak. In turn, your airport shall help your city attract more visitors, including famous stars and VIPs, thereby increasing your city’s affluence. But Airport City HD has neither “bitizens” nor pixelated artwork. In fact, Airport City HD boasts well-defined graphics complemented by realistic sound effects. Other key features of the game are as follows:
  • User-friendly interface and immersive gameplay
  • Easy-to-use tutorial and help system
  • Many vivid characters coming to life with their own stories to tell
  • A score of residential, commercial, and recreational buildings
  • No ads
Airport City HD for iPad is available now in the App Store as a freemium empire-building game. Sadly, there’s no iPhone edition just yet. Needless to say, Pocket Planes came first before Airport City HD. But that doesn’t mean that the latter is not worth a tailspin.
