Are You An Olympic Slacker?
August 3, 2012
Slacker Radio, the popular streaming music service, has heard London calling and has responded as any Olympian would. The service, which is available in the United States and Canada, has launched “The Champion’s Theme” station, for the 2012 Summer Olympic Games.
The new station captures the triumph of champions with the music of Hans Zimmer, John Williams, Trent Reznor, and more. The free station is available online and in the “Classical” station category anywhere Slacker is available.
First launched in 2007, Slacker Radio includes a music catalog 10 times larger than Pandora’s, and offers over 200 genre-related stations. Additionally, the service offers non-music content such as ESPN sports updates, ABC News, and comedy stations.
Slacker Radio is available on iOS devices, the Web, and Sonos devices.
