More Power! Photo And Video Filtering App Updates With New Features

Get your iPhone camera ready. The real-time photo and video effect app PowerCam has recently been updated with new improvements and more features.
Probably the best upgrade in version 2.0.1 of the app is that users can apply effects and frames to photos on their Camera Roll with the purchase of the $1.99 creative pack. The purchase will also unlock a new panorama picture mode allowing for wider shots.
With the tilt-shift filter, the app has added a new polar mode that works better with round objects.
The color splash option now features two modes – one-tap color removal and one-tap color save. And the collage mode offers basic editing of photos along with more templates to use.
PowerCam is designed for the iPhone/iPod touch but is compatible with the iPad. It can be downloaded free in the App Store.
While I’m usually not a big fan of free apps that offer in-app purchases to unlock key features, I think PowerCam does it the right way. The free version allows a user to get a taste of what the app can do, and the more powerful features can be purchased if so desired.
