Remember Dash? Just a couple of days ago, we told you about "a new, upcoming jailbreak tweak that can change the app switcher for the better." This jailbreak tweak - called Dash - has recently launched in the Cydia Store, meaning folks can now spice-up app switching on their jailbroken iDevice.
As we originally reported:
Once downloaded and installed, this jailbreak tweak adds a well designed app switcher to jailbroken iDevices. Using this app switcher interface, jailbreakers can switch between frozen iPhone apps on their handset via a number of animations, including Scroll, CoverFlow and TimeMachine. Dash can be invoked through an Activator action, such as a double press of the Home button, for example. After it has been enabled, users can then navigate to the frozen app of their choice. All the animations look great, and for a jailbreak tweak - some of which can, on occasion, be slow and buggy - Dash runs incredibly smoothly. Below, Dom has taken Dash for a spin on his jailbroken iPhone. Take a look at the video, and if you're interested in downloading Dash on your iDevice, you can find it in the Cydia Store (via the ModMyi repository) for $1.99.
