New iPhone Could Screw With Tinkering, Repairability

As ever more parts reports flood in for the as-yet-unannounced iPhone 5, we've been able to ascertain with a certain level of confidence how Apple's latest handset will probably look. How the thing will be put together, though, is a different story, as there's no telling exactly what greater role adhesives will play. Like the new iPad and MacBook Pro, Apple could be opting for more stickum than screw 'em. After all, Cook and company aren't too keen on user tinkering and unauthorized repairs. Of course, even if Apple ends up wearing some old-school threads, don't expect disassembly to be much easier.
