Set An iOS Camera Timer With This Jailbreak Tweak

August 28, 2012
A new jailbreak tweak called CamTime has the power to add a timer to the built-in Camera app. Once downloaded and installed, a new clock icon will appear next to the 'shoot' or 'record' icon in the Camera app (when in camera mode or video mode, respectively). Touching this clock icon allows users to input the length of the camera timer they wish to activate. You simply input the number of seconds via a number pad that will appear within the Camera app. After doing this and pressing "OK," the timer will begin, and after a preset amount of time the Camera app will either shoot an image, or start recording a video. It's a simple tweak, but CamTime works well. Plus, it can be downloaded for free in the Cydia Store (via the BigBoss repository). If you're interested, take this new jailbreak tweak for a spin, or for more information, check out our video walkthrough below.
